We had wonderful day in Medford, Eugene and Corvallis.  Folks in all three cities were thrilled that Hydrogen Road Tour 2009 stopped in their towns, and they were excited to learn about hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.  All city and government officials expressed interest in partnering with California to build hydrogen infrastructure.

We had another great day on the road.  Our stop at the Sundial bridge in Redding, CA was warm but we had lots of folks that came out to learn about hydrogen and drive one of the fuel cell cars.  We experienced breath-taking views as we climbed over the pass out of Redding and dropped into Yreka.  We've stopped in Medford, Oregon for the evening and tomorrow we hit the road again...Sutherlin, Eugene and Corvallis are on the agenda for tomorrow.

It's a warm 98 degrees here in Bakersfield on day 2 stop 8.  The entire hydrogen fuel cell caravan arrived safely after a long trek across the Grapevine.  Road tour participants are reaching out to local media and giving the public an opportunity to drive a fuel cell vehicle. Bakersfield is known for poor air quality so locals are excited to have a hands on opportunity to drive cars with zero tail pipe emissions that will reduce pollution and green house gases.
